CHRISTMAS CANVAS ON WOOD

Hi, I'm Milagros from the El Taller de Mila, today I share a Christmas Canvas on wood as my first inspiration DT. Very excited to show you my first inspiration as part of the great team of Mixed Media Warriors, for this first inspiration and since we already have Christmas in sight I have created a Christmas Canvas on wood with very easy techniques to work and few materials.

I hope you liked it and you want to do something similar, as you can see it is ideal as a decoration both hanging on the wall and on a piece of furniture. And also invite you to join on our November Challenge .

Enchanting Forest by Ola

Hello dears!
Ola here. Today I want to inspire you with this Enchanting Forest canvas.
For the base I used a beautiful paper by 7 Dots Studio. Next I added some texture using Texture paste + green acrylic paint through stencil. To create a layering around the photo I used chipboard die cuts, cheese cloth fabric, resist canvas, leaf die cuts and flowers. To color these project I used Color Bloom mists and Art Alchemy acrylic paints.

Canvas "Just Too Cute" by Noura Pompilla

Hello my friends!

I hope everything is good with ya'll, today I want to share this new canvas with all of you. The canvas was inspired by the beautiful picture of the baby down below. When I think of something delicate and fragil I think about sweet and tender babies and how it's such a pleasure to see them sleep. I hope you like the canvas!!

Ola here. Today I would like to share with you this small mixed media canvas.
To create the base a cut a piece of corrugated cardboard and glued to the canvas. Next I added all the embellishments and covered them with a white gesso. I brushed a little bit with a gesso also the cardboard. To color this project I used Art Alchemy metallic paints and Mica powder.

Art. Mixed Media canvas.

Ola here. Today I would like to share with you my new project, something about Art :). For me art is something light that fills my life with a lot of meaning and energy. That's what I tried to express in this creation.
I made this Mixed Media canvas using chipboard die cuts, IOD moulds, Crackle and Stone Effect pastes by Finnabair/Prima Marketing and Prima's flowers. To color this I used Art Alchemy Metallique and Opal Magic paints.

Creating yourself. Canvas + tutorial

Ola here. Today I would like to share with you my new mixed media canvas.
What are you doing with your chipboard die cuts negatives?
Do you throw them into garbage or save them?
Because if you save them, you can use them to create a beautiful layering on mixed media projects :)
That's exactly what I did on this canvas. And I also prepared a video tutorial for you. Hope you'll like it :)

Vintage style mixed media canvas

Ola here. Today I would like to share with you my new mixed media canvas created in Vintage style.
I started with creating some texture on a background using modeling paste + stencils and few negatives of chipboard die cuts.
Next I built my composition and covered all pieces with white gesso.
To color it I used Lindy's mists and Art Alchemy metallique paints. The final touch was to add few flowers, art stones and to brush everything with white gesso.
