MIDNIGHT SUMMER DREAM

Hi creative ladies !!Here Milagros (Mila) from El Taller de Mila, I leave my inspiration for this month of June, for me it is a very special month, the beginning of the summer solstice is united to the day of my birth, therefore to my birthday, in Spain the festivals "verbenas" are celebrated in the magic night of San Juan with rites and ancestral traditions, one of the main ones consists in making bonfires to give more strength to the sun, it is on this night when all the beings and magic spirits come out. The shortest night of the year is full of rituals, spells and desires ... it's a very special night.

Even William Shakespheare was inspired to create his "Midnight Summer Dream".

I was inspired by the colors and "new beginning", the 21st is the summer solstice, a new beginning for the summer season and the 23rd night of San Juan is my birthday, for me it represents a new journey towards the new year that for me it begins, from there that I have altered this suitcase to maintain my dreams for the new stage of my life and throughout the year all my experiences.

For this altered suitcase I worked with collage of tissue paper and old book sheets, gesso layer, and with acrylic paint from my hiding place creating layer on layer with my marks, leaves with stencil and highlighted with uniball posca blanco.

Mixed Media Sticky Note Pad by Monika

Hello lovelies!!!

Monika here from UrooCreations, I have two little Mixed Media altered pieces to share as DT inspiration for this month. I love altering things and giving them a new look, so here are two sticky note pads with some lovely colours and embellishments. I have used lots of gorgeous supplies like sea shells from Little Birdie Crafts, mixed media supplies from Prima Marketing Inc - Finnabair and sprays, magical shakers from Lindy's Stamp Gang. May Moodboard Inspiration by Adrijana Knez

Hello Mixed Media Warriors fans and friends!

Adrijana here from Paper Beauty AK with my new DT inspiration for May Moodboard. Did you see our new Challenge and colours combo? It's amazing and this time I altered my beautiful butterfly called "Beauty of Universe". I added some metal numbers, stars from chipboard and Stamperia sun. I used Finnabair waxes: Sweet Rose, Electric Violet, Blue Lagoon and Mint Sparkle. Once Upon a Springtime

Hi dears!! Milagros Asensio  here from El taller de Mila , today I share mi inspiration in the form of an altered  art , I love rescuing branches, stones etc to give them a new life, this time I saw many possibilities in a small trunk of a vine arm that my husband cut in our vineyard.

I was very excited to create with it a small magical world in the rebirth of a new spring.

I have worked with the papers of Grhapic 45 Once upon a Springtime, some materials of Premium Marketing patinas effect oxide and the skid effects and the wax opal magic turquoise satin, Stamperia the Antik gesso, Ranger Ice Stickles, the H2o and the Interference gold de That Crafty's.

"TRAP NOTES" MOUSE TRAP ALTERED

Milagros here from Cleo Scrap and the other things , today I share my free inspiration DT for January...

I am going to share and altered Mouse Trap for "Trap Notes" inspired in #35 Moodboard Challenge "Let´s get a Party" and their beautiful and full wonderful and festive colors...

I love altered Mouse Trap ... and you like to alter objects??

For created my altered mouse trap I used some  pigments Primary Elements by Luminart in wonderful colors, white and black gesso by Prima Marketing, stencil #32 All Create designed by Carol AndCo, Pasta Ferro 3D by la Pajarita, Pattina Effect Paste by Prima Marketing. Stencil number Jumble By Tim Holtz , Stamperia Texture Paste, stamps by Prima Marketing and other from my stash.

My altered Mouse Trap will help to write down all the birthay parties and family events so as not to forget any.

Altered Reindeer head hanger by Milagros

Hi! Sweet creative girls, I wish you had a happy Christmas day ... Milagros here from Cleo Scrap and the others things with my inspiration for December. For her I was inspired by the color mint and the traditional red and green in addition to the winter part of the #35 Moodboard challenge December  to create this Altered Reindeer head hanger for the door or wall. 

I have worked the reindeer head with the chalk pickling and acrylic technique, Stamperia crackling paste with Tim Holtz stencil, Heidi Swapp Sweet Cherry shine color spray, gold wax cream. Wooden chipboard worked with Cadence VintageLegend color Mold Green, snow glitter Alenee`s and gold wax cream. Pine leaf and  berries die-cuts colored with Prima Marketing watercolors . Small piece of musical score and a phrase stamp by Prima Marketing . 

This little ornament is ideal for small gifts this holiday I've done three of these .
